COVU Welcomes Dana LeTendre as Head of AI

With deep expertise in data science, machine learning, and AI-driven automation, Dana will play a pivotal role in advancing COVU’s AI-first strategy to revolutionize insurance agency operations.

Dana joins COVU after five years at Healthcare.com, where he leveraged AI and machine learning to optimize customer acquisition, voice technology, and digital marketing for insurance products. Previously, he served as Head of Data Science and Machine Learning at Assurance IQ, where he built automated AI-driven decision engines for customer engagement, traffic management, and predictive modeling. His experience spans multiple industries, including finance and investment, where he utilized data-driven strategies to manage multi-billion-dollar portfolios.
 

As COVU continues to invest heavily in AI throughout 2025, Dana will lead initiatives to enhance customer request handling, carrier connectivity, intelligent guidance for agents and customers, and request triaging—all with the goal of achieving 80%+ automation within two years. His expertise in AI-powered automation and intelligent decision-making will be instrumental in scaling COVU’s solutions for insurance agencies.
